The Peter Hedley Gallery is located in the centre of Wareham, an attractive Saxon riverside town between Poole Harbour and the Purbeck Hills and coast. The gallery opened in 1983 to specialize in promoting traditional works by contemporary Painters and Sculptors, chosen from all over the British Isles and some from Europe.   We have always specialised in original paintings and bronzes and consider ourselves one of the well-established and well-stocked galleries in the South of England, Dorset in particular. 

The gallery is closed for stock-taking from December 29th 2011 to mid January 2012.  Please telephone before journeying to visit after that, as our opening hours are now changeable and not as shown at the bottom of this page.

Peter Hedley is now approaching retirement and Susan Watton has already retired.  The Gallery may be changing hands or closing shortly. Is anyone interested in buying this gallery? If so, please contact us.
